kitchen chaos

It's come around fast, and tomorrow is the day that the kitchen fitters are coming. I'm not expecting miracles and am fully prepared for the new kitchen to take a really, really long time to build, and I'm prepared that there may well be complications. To keep things interesting, our boiler konked out yesterday, and will accidentally knocked one of our radiators and broke it - not sure if these things are related and can't do anything about it until kitchen chaos calms down and we can call a boiler man.

Will's Dad passed away on Friday. Not out of the blue as he had been ill for a few weeks, but he became ill quite suddenly and was only in his 60s. Will has the week off work and is hoping to work on the boat a bit. 

We are lucky and have a bit of space in this house, so have made a make-shift kitchen in the lounge, and have moved the fridge and freezer into the utility room, where they may well stay. 

Blossom is out in the garden, the weather has been a little milder, and hopefully things are improving.
