Well, I won't dress it up, it's been a pretty terrifically bad month. We found out that my mum is quite poorly, though gladly managed to visit her for nearly a week over Easter. I have been finding it really difficult to find any kind of balance or sense in my thoughts or events. The less said the better, as the only thing to do is keep on going, that is what we shall all do.
I had a call last week saying that my sewing machine is ready so that is good news as I had began to feel quite anxious. I can't wait to start making some summer dresses for the girls.
I made a jumper a couple of weeks ago for my mum from a pattern from someone on Instagram (I think username scarlet_sometimes). I love her style and her account has made me super inspired to start making clothes again. When I was about 19/20 I made almost all of my own clothes and mostly dressed like an organ grinder, i loved it.

I have also started on a issue of 4ply socks using teeny tiny round needles my friend has lent me. I'm nearly at the toe on the first sock and got the hang of using the needles but honestly am bored silly, so I don't know.
Easter happened. As I said we visited my mum which was nice, it's been a while. We also went on holiday to fishguard the week before which was actually a lovely week
I have started letting one of the cats outside this week. She has been absolutely desperate to go out for weeks. I will get her fully used to bring outdoors then start letting out the other (supervised) as he is a ragdoll and very clumsy. Molly has been so happy going outside, she is like the cat that got the cream.
We picked loads of wild garlic today and made gren chapatis to go with dal. They were lovely, and I love green food.

That's all for now really. I wanted to update and keep from falling really behind but I'm honestly feeling pretty mixed up. I also was in a (minor) car accident yesterday and I think it has stolen all of my energy.
Back soon hopefully.
Update: found a photo from aforementioned organ grinder phase taken 11 years ago
