Yesterday evening I spent a happy half-hour decanting things from large jars into smaller jars, and then emptying some of our unopened packages into the large jars. In our kitchen we have the big shelving unit that Will built which acts as our pantry and which we keep all of the things we use all the time on, and I love this because I can see everything and I know what we've got. But we often have so much dry food that we also have been keeping unopened packages in one of the kitchen cupboards, which I hate. It is dingy and mildewy and disorganised and I have to get on the floor to be able to see inside it. I am hoping that if we start to use up some of the dry good that we have then we should be able to empty this cupboard and just keep cleaning products in it which I would prefer (though to be honest I'd rather rip out the whole fitted kitchen and not have to worry about corner cupboards at all)
There is also another cupboard beside the extractor fan that we are planning to take out and replace which shelving which is a similar situation, packages of dry goods that we don't know what else to do with. I don't really know why we have been stocking up for the nuclear holocaust, but it would be nice to only have enough food in for a couple of weeks, since we go shopping once a week anyway.

Awful, but emptier
Lovely
